While in corporate communications at a biotechnology company in Seattle, Robin had the idea for founding Health Advocacy Strategies in response to the people she met who were facing disabling and sometimes life-threatening diseases. These people faced monumental challenges due to their situations. They couldn’t walk, perform everyday tasks or fully participate in life. She was inspired by each person she met and by their desire to voluntarily share their unique experiences and stories.
